About us

Yonat is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500) and certified Tibetan Yoga (Kum Nye) instructor with a bachelor's degree in Dance/Movement and a Teaching Certificate, and additional training including a Certificate in Gerontology from the University of Washington, Teaching Yoga for Seniors, Foundational TCTSY (Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga) training (20 hours), and supporting students with eating disorders.

Her teaching blends awareness and embodiment, drawing on her diverse experience as a dancer, fitness trainer, and student of other movement modalities (Feldenkrais, Martial Dance, Contact Improvisation), as well as her long-standing study and practice of meditation. With this rich background, she brings a caring, attentive, and methodical approach to her classes, offering her home studio as a quiet, welcoming space for reconnecting with the body, cultivating presence, and nurturing healing.
